Finding resources to keep Vietnamese language alive can be a challenge, but I’ve got you covered. Here are some fantastic bookstores, authors, and content creators that provide great content to help you on this journey. 

Little Ant World

Little Ant World offers a wide range of bilingual children's books in Vietnamese and English and educational resources (flashcards, coloring sheets, arts and crafts activities). Founded with a passion to fill a gap in accessible resources, we offer vibrant books that help children and families learn Vietnamese together. Our mission is to empower young readers to embrace diversity and heritage, one story at a time.

Tinywrist

Tinywrist specializes in bilingual Vietnamese books and offers beautiful children's storybooks, including: Đúng là Tết / This is Tết, Bé Sings and Learns Vietnamese, and 10 Khúc Đồng Dao. They also have a YouTube channel featuring lovely covers of Vietnamese children's songs.

Gemma’s Library

Created by a second-generation Vietnamese mom, Gemma’s Library offers a range of Vietnamese books for babies and toddlers. Their collection is growing and is perfect for families looking to teach Vietnamese through engaging stories with more than 10 books, including Vietnamese Alphabet Book, Everyday Activities and Farm Adventure. They also offer Vietnamese Alphabet Puzzle and Jigsaw Puzzle. 

Em Be Books

Founded by Jessie Duong, a first-generation Vietnamese-American mom based in California, EmbeBooks offers a growing collection of bilingual children's books. Designed to support families like hers in learning Vietnamese, EmbeBooks provides engaging stories that celebrate Vietnamese culture, including 123 in Vietnamese, Em be di cho and Are You Sleepy Yet, My Dear? perfect for introducing young readers to Vietnamese. 

Mommy & Me Vietnamese

Mommy & Me Vietnamese, hosted by Sophie Bao Tran, is the next generation of The He Tre Productions, a globally known children's bilingual Vietnamese English educational content company popular in the 90's. Now that the next generation of Vietnamese Americans are having kids, Sophie wanted to help provide content that is suitable to the new needs and tastes of this era.

Cô Lani at BeBao

Bebao features toddler learning videos and baby learning videos that help children learn numbers, colors, animals and basic words and phrases in Vietnamese and English. Cô Lani is an educator that uses classroom techniques and second language techniques to teach through popular nursery rhymes, songs and play while incorporating Southeast Asian Vietnamese culture. 

Hello to Chao

Hello To Chao is a great resource for Viet parents outside Vietnam with young children (ages 2-5). They provide fun and educational Vietnamese learning materials, including free printable flashcards and worksheets. Their products are designed to make teaching easy and learning enjoyable, helping your kids speak more Tiếng Việt at home and connect with their Vietnamese heritage.

Crafty Bao

Crafty Bao has an adorable collection of flashcards, posters, greeting cards, clothing, art prints and more! Their shop has a diverse range of products that celebrate Vietnamese culture and heritage. Check it out! 

Bo and Mei

Bo and Mei offers a delightful collection of children activity kits designed to introduce young readers to Vietnamese and Chinese culture. Through engaging toys and activity books, Bo and Mei aims to spark curiosity and celebrate diversity, making learning both fun and accessible for children and families alike.

Tiệm Mọt

With locations in the US and Canada, Tiệm Mọt offers a vast selection of Vietnamese books for all ages. They are a reputable source for Vietnamese literature and are dedicated to promoting bilingualism and Vietnamese culture.

Tiệm Sách Việt Nhỏ

This bookstore specializes in Vietnamese children's books and is run by Vietnamese parents in the US. They offer picture books, early readers, chapter books, and bilingual books in Vietnamese and English.

Tiệm Sách Saigon

Located in Virginia, Tiệm Sách Saigon is open once a week for readers to browse their diverse collection of Vietnamese books, including children’s books. They promote bilingualism and Vietnamese culture among US families.

Vietcanbooks

Based in Canada, Vietcanbooks sells Vietnamese books and learning materials to customers in both Canada and the US. Their selection includes children's books and parenting books imported directly from Vietnam.
