Welcome to Little Ant World. My name is Windy Pham, and I am the founder of Little Ant World. I was born and raised in Vietnam, and came to the United States at 17. I remember feeling so out of place, my accent, my name, my identity. It all felt like something I had to hide, something that made me different in ways that weren’t celebrated.

Now, as a mom, raising an Asian American girl, I want her to be proud - proud of her Vietnamese traditions, proud of the language we speak, and proud of the rich culture she was born in. When I searched for resources to teach her, I found a big gap in children’s books. There were so few books that reflected our experiences, so few stories that celebrated our identity.

That’s why I started Little Ant World to create bilingual books and cultural events to help kids understand where they come from and celebrate our differences. Each book is crafted with love and the intention of bridging the gap between Vietnamese cultures and generations. We also offer cultural events to help parents and educators foster a love for learning and create a deeper connection to our heritage.

I hope Little Ant World can be a source of inspiration, a way for families to connect or reconnect with their heritage and help every child feel proud of their identity.
